This letter is not about the Republicans or the Democrats. It is not about the deficit, or gun control. Neither is it about increased taxes, social security or Obamacare.
It is a simple letter of thanks to all the friends, acquaintances and well-wishers that either called or sent get-well cards to me following my recent open-heart surgery and recovery. It is truly wonderful to live in a community where there are so many caring people. I would like to thank each one of you personally but there are just too many and I'm sure that I would leave someone out, so I'm taking this way to say thanks to all of you.
