Kilimanjaro celebration

DOUGLAS GNAS and his wife Courtney celebrate from the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the Kilimanjaro National Park, Tanzania on Thursday, Jan. 24. Douglas is a 1998 graduate of Dolores High School. He and his wife are avid climbers, hikers and runners (marathons). Although Douglas has climbed 14ers in Colorado, he said reaching the 19+ summit of Kilimanjaro was the most grueling thing he has ever done. Douglas, who now resides in Phoenix, is the son of Sue & Gary Gnas of Dolores.
