Residents living in and around the Cortez community can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. Cortez Veterans will host Life Line Screening on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 320 North Harrison in Cortez. Louise Richards of Grand Junction attended a Life Line Screening and said, "If I had not taken advantage of your screenings I would never have known I had a problem."
