Wednesday, Nov. 7

10:24 a.m.: A deputy seized the license plates from a vehicle on the 400 block of N. Market St. after a check to pay for the plates bounced.

10:34 a.m.: A deputy seized the license plates from a vehicle on the 200 block of E. Seventh St. after a check to pay for the plates bounced.

2:32 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant on the 28000 block of Road K.2.

2:28 p.m.: A deputy seized the license plates from a vehicle on the 200 block of N. 10th St. after a check to pay for the plates bounced.

9:29 pm.: A mobile home on the 50000 block of County Road 25 was fully engulfed in flames. A woman had burns to her hands and face and was flown to a burn unit in Denver. A man who went inside the mobile home while it was on fire and carried out the woman was later arrested on an unrelated warrant. A wood stove and vent pipe were blamed for the fire.

Thursday, Nov. 8

2:31 p.m.: A woman at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N Park St., was arrested on a warrant and taken to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:56 p.m.: The driver of a silver Honda sedan was cited for driving on a suspended license and having a defective license plate lamp on the 1500 block of S. Broadway.

11:46 p.m.: Deputies responded to a domestic problem on the 12000 block of County Road 17. A woman was suspected of hitting a man in the elbow with a Mason jar and hitting him in the face with a closed hand. The police report did not include charges or arrests.

Friday, Nov. 9

1:01 p.m.: A man spoke to a deputy in the lobby of the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., and reported damaged to his vehicle. It appeared that someone had used a tool to attempt to pry open the driver side and passenger doors.

7:01 p.m.: A woman called to report a burglary at a residence in the 15500 block of County Road 35. She had just closed on the home earlier in the day. When she returned to the home, a bottle of whiskey and golf clubs were missing. The clubs are described as a Mizuno JPX300 irons, a Cobra driver, a Taylor putter and a Taylor golf bag. The owners stated the clubs are worth $1,200.

Saturday, Nov. 10

9:10 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant on the 400 block of W. Menefee St.

Sunday, Nov. 11

10:30 p.m.: A male passenger repeatedly attempted to grab the steering wheel of a moving car as a female was driving on the 20000 block of U.S. Highway 491. She pulled the car over and attempted to run toward a house. A witness reportedly saw the man grab the woman. He was arrested for harassment and domestic violence.

Monday, Nov. 12

1:13 a.m.: The driver of a silver Dodge on the 700 block of E. Empire St. was cited for driving without a license, displaying expires plates and driving an uninsured vehicle.

11:15 p.m.: A deputy assisted Colorado State Patrol on a traffic stop on the 200 block of U.S. Highway 160. One of the occupants was arrested on a felony warrant from the U.S. Marshal. The driver was arrested for DUI alcohol.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

3:55 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant on the 40000 block of Road J.9.
