I have been very impressed with Diane Mitsch Bush, particularly with her knowledge of complex issues and her willingness to work with all stakeholders to find solutions.

One of the issues I find most concerning is climate change. We have seen the effects locally with the 416 Fire. Our warming temperatures and drought contributed to the 416 Fire’s severity. Climate change will also cause a reduced snowpack and a much faster snow melt. This will result in less water during the summer for agricultural and recreational uses.

Diane Mitsch Bush understands the importance of water to the agricultural and recreational communities. She has proven experience developing Colorado’s Water Plan. She has worked hard to protect water resources for our State. She understands how carbon emissions significantly contribute to climate change and that placing a fee on carbon, with payment of a dividend to all households, will significantly reduce carbon emissions. She has pledged to join the Climate Solutions Caucus when elected to the House of Representatives.

Scott Tipton has done nothing to address climate change and does not seem to understand how climate change will adversely affect our water and agricultural and recreational communities due to the reduced snowpack and rapid snow melt.

Please join me in voting for Diane Mitsch Bush for U.S. House of Representatives. She will listen to us, her constituents, and she is committed to working across the aisle to find solutions to these concerning issues.
