6:53 p.m.: Four deputies responded to a trailer park in the 23500 block of County Road F.5 after a woman reported that she had been involved in a domestic disturbance with her husband, and that she had wielded a knife in self-defense, cutting the man’s hand. The woman reported that the man had ripped a necklace off her, slapped her face and kicked gravel at her as he spun his tires while leaving the scene. The reporting deputy said no evidence supporting her claims, and requested that the case be submitted to the district attorney’s office for review.
Thursday, Oct. 4
12:41 p.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:55 p.m.: A woman was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
1:44 p.m.: A deputy assisted a Colorado State Patrol officer who was investigating a possible DUI incident at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road. The suspect was arrested and jailed after allegedly yelling at the trooper and trying to push past him.
2:44 p.m.: A deputy responded to vehicle fire in the 43200 block of County Road N in Mancos but did not notice “notable damage.”
2:58 p.m.: A woman at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 Park St., was arrested and jailed in a probation case.
Friday, Oct. 5
2:10 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 Park St.
1:02 p.m.: A man with expired license plates was pulled over in the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 160 cited for driving with a suspended license and displaying expired plates.
5:05 p.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Saturday, Oct. 6
3:03 p.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
6:27 p.m.: A woman who was walking intoxicated in the 22000 block of County Road G was arrested for violating an alcohol-related protection order.
Sunday, Oct. 7
12:42 a.m.: A man was pulled over in the 25000 block of County Road H after allegedly failing to obey a stop sign, and his passenger was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Schedule IV narcotic drug. He also faces a charge of prohibited use of a weapon after a dismantled handgun was found by his side.
2:57 p.m.: A man reported that an unoccupied mobile home in the 13500 block of County Road 28 had been damaged after someone apparently made a forced entry through the back door.
4:07 p.m.: A woman was served two warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Monday, Oct. 8
10:19 a.m.: A woman being treated at Southwest Memorial Hospital reported that a dog bit her in the face at a residence in the 25200 block of County Road F. A deputy reported that the home did not match the victim’s description.
10:25 a.m.: A woman reported that a battery had been stolen from a camper in the 12800 block of County Road N in Mancos on Sept. 12.
12:19 p.m.: A man reported that his $56.97 Amazon Fire 7 tablet had been stolen from his residence in the 10700 block of County Road 24.4 Loop and that a woman had caused $300 in damage to his scooter after using it without permission. The deputy reported that he did not have enough evidence to charge the suspect for the scooter’s damage.

9:27 a.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
1:28 p.m.: A woman reported that she received a fictitious check at her home in the 28000 block of County Road P after trying to sell her wedding dress.
4:25 p.m.: A woman was served two warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
10:01 p.m.: A man reported that his dog had been attacked by two dogs while tethered in his yard in the 28330 block of County Road K.2. A female neighbor was cited with having an uncontrolled dog, and an unrelated male neighbor was cited with the same charge based on the witness’ description and fresh wounds on the suspected dogs.
