Funeral Mass for Jose Benito "Joe" Garcia, a former Mancos resident, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14 at St. Rita Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 13 at St. Rita Catholic Church.
Joe was born the son of Salvador Ernesto and Clorinda Maria (Romero) Garcia on March 14, 1936 in Lyden, N.M. He passed away at his Albuquerque, N.M. home on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at the age of 76.
