Mrs. Winifred Harrington returned home Friday evening from attending her son, Doug's graduation from Denver Automotive and Diesel. Doug is now working in Cortez. He received the honor of being named the outstanding student for attitude and leadership in his class. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lestition of Denver, her daughter and family, came down to spend Christmas with the Harringtons and then returned home Tuesday.

Mary Setser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Setser, is home for the holidays from Navajo Community College at Chinle, Ariz.

Guests for Christmas Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Thomas were Mr. and Mrs. John Ritter of Mancos and their daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Colyer and son Tern, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Burns and their son Dick Burns who flew in from Klamath Falls, Oregon for the day.

Guests Thursday and Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Sundquist were his sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Peters of Ordway. They were on their way to spend Christmas in California.

Enjoying Christmas dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Rule and family were the Carl Higgins family, the Larry Rule family and Buford Rule.

The Vic Sundquist home was the scene of a family reunion over the Christmas holidays. All of the family were there including Mr. and Mrs. Vic Sundquist Jr. and family of Cortez, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Minor and Beth of Durango, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Long of Lakewood, Colo. and Mrs. Georgia Lynch. They all enjoyed Christmas Eve at the Sundquists here in Dolores and then had Christmas dinner in Cortez at the Vic Sundquist, Jr. home.

Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers Jr. entertained the George Rogers of Dolores with a Christmas dinner. Bobby Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers Jr. had somewhat of an unpleasant ending to the Christmas holidays as he had to have his tonsils out the day after Christmas. But with the help of a lot of popsicles and ice cream he is making a speedy recovery.

Mr. and Mrs. McEwen were present at a family gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bass. They spent Christmas day with the Wayne McEwens. The Harveys of Yellow Jacket were Monday guests at the McEwen home. Visiting the afternoon before Christmas was Raymond Satterfield.

The Gary Allen home was full as they entertained Mr. and Mrs. John Lambert, Mr. and Mrs. Whetsel Allen, Mr. and Mrs. James Lambert and family and Barbara Lambert and sons, for Christmas dinner.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Allen attended the Odd Fellows and Rebecca Christmas party Thursday night.
