Carl A. Zion passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 19, 2012. He was born at home near Vernon, Colo. on May 2, 1931. Carl was an instructor at Fort Leonardwood, Mo. during the years of the Korean War. He taught high school vocational agriculture, worked for the government and in construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, watching football and many other hobbies.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; three sisters; and many other family members. He is survived by his wife of 61 years; his children, grandchildren; great grandchildren; and other family members.
