Please remember that the Hawkins Preserve is off limits to motorized vehicles. Many new ATV tracks have been discovered since the last work crews were in.
If anyone sees an ATV or motorcycle in the Hawkins Preserve, please call the Cortez Cultural Center at 565-1151 or the Cortez Police Department at 565-8441.
Sometimes you may see motorized vehicles in the Preserve, but they are always work crews and have prior permission to be there. Don't hesitate to ask!
