We are hearing a lot from Scott Tipton these days now that the November elections are getting closer. He tells us how much he has helped veterans and what a good representative he is. He touts how wonderful the Republican tax reform is.
This so-called tax reform gives the middle class a few peanuts that go away in a few years. It gives huge tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations that do not go away. It has already increased our national debt by $30 billion from lost revenue since it was passed.
Tipton brags they got rid of the Obamacare mandate – what that did is raise everyone’s premiums as you limit the insurance pool; those who stay in pay more.
We now have two of Trump’s buddies on trial for hiding money so they didn’t have to pay taxes on it. This is money that should have been used to help pay for our military, roads, schools and all those things that really do make America great. Where is that “wonderful” health care that was promised? Where is the infrastructure that was promised?
Tipton is NOT a champion of our public lands and supports all the efforts to have states take over lands that belong to all Americans and our children and their children. It would only be a matter of time before they sold them off to the oil, mining, livestock, timber and gas companies.
It is time for Tipton to go. In fact, it’s time for most of the Republicans to go.
