To participate in the Mancos Senior Center lunches, phone Clara at 533-7721 by 7:30 a.m. the day of the lunch to reserve a place, order a take-out meal or request a home-delivered meal. Be sure to leave a message if you get the answering machine. Bingo is held every Wednesday from 10 to 11:15 a.m.
Hot meals are served every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All ages are welcome.
Wednesday, Dec. 5 Smothered chicken, cornbread stuffing, peas, plums, cole slaw, wheat roll.
Friday, Dec. 7 Lentil black bean soup, 1/2 ham salad sandwich, lettuce and tomato, Mandarin oranges, brownies.
Monday, Dec. 10 Beef tacos with lettuce, tomato and salsa, refried beans, fiesta corn, winter fruit salad.
Wednesday, Dec. 12 Braised beef over noodles, glazed carrots, tossed salad, saucy fruit salad, banana wheat muffin.
