I am a farmer in La Plata County, and all our hay crops are less than half this year. Because of our historical drought conditions and the large wildfires, there has been lots of talk about the changing climate. It might be hard to prove that our unusual weather is the result of man-made climate change but these conditions are exactly what climate scientists have been predicting for many years.
It bothers me that our congressional representative, Scott Tipton, won’t talk about doing anything. He needs to hear that we care about environmental and climate issues. Sure it’s OK to rate security and terrorism as our top concerns but changing weather patterns will eventually cost more and cause more harm than any terrorist.
It takes less than a minute to call Rep. Scott Tipton and let him know that you want action.
