We normally go to Durango to do our shopping because we find that if we watch the advertisements, there can be considerable savings on just about anything from groceries to hardware. Today we went to pick up groceries and a few other things and when driving through town, we saw gasoline signs for $3.20 per gallon. This was of course for regular. We use premium so we pulled in and filled up with premium, 91 octane, for $3.40 per gallon. When we came back to Cortez, we saw that at City Market, premium was $3.81. Now there is a good reason to shop local.
