THIRD-GRADE STUDENTS of Mrs. Neeley and Mrs. Elder show off dictionaries given to them by the Dolores Rotary Club. For the ninth year, the club is participating in the American Dictionary Project, which provides hardcover dictionaries to more than 49,000 third-grade students in the United States. The Dolores Rotary club delivers dictionaries to all third-grade students in Dolores, Mancos, Dove Creek and Rico. The cost of the dictionaries is underwritten by the Kinder Morgan Foundation, which has funded the local program for four years. The dictionaries were delivered to Dolores on Tuesday by Rotarians Ed Merritt, Scott Cooper, Vic Vieira and David Sanford.
