Theres one thing that people seem to notice as much as anything gas prices. And when the price range from region to region is so extreme, motorists really take notice.
Of late, there appears to be a rather large price difference between Montezuma County and Durango.
With prices listed on coloradogasprices.com to be as low as $3.20 in Durango, Cortez prices are much higher with the lowest price listed at $3.56.
According to a news release by Gasbuddy, which operates that website, the average gas prices in Colorado have fallen 3.9 cents per gallon over the past week, averaging $3.38 Sunday. This compares with the national average that has fallen 3.2 cents in the last week to $3.43.
Sunday prices in Colorado were 1.6 cents higher than the same day one year ago and are 25.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 26.4 cents during the last month and stands 6.5 cents higher than this day one year ago.
