Celebrate Kiva anniversary Saturday

Make your reservations today for The Children’s Kiva Montessori School 25th anniversary celebration on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Cortez Elks, 2100 N. Dolores Rd. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The event’s festivities will include dinner, cake, a live auction by Larry Don Suckla, a dessert auction, a “Paint a tile for the Kiva” project and live music featuring the band, Old North State, who blends elements of bluegrass, folk, rock and roll and punk rock. These boys put on a great, live show sure to entertain all ages.

Auction items will include a “Poco” child carrier from Osprey Packs, a back country tour of Crow Canyon’s archeological excavations, locally handmade jewelry, pet care, dinners at local restaurants, salon services, auto care and many more! Tickets are $20 for adults and children 10 and over, and $10 for children ages 10 and under; children 3 and under are free.
