Cortez library announces July storytimes

The Raising Readers Storytime program, held every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cortez Public Library, has announced its offerings for July.

Older children are welcome to join storytimes for a craft at 11:15 a.m.

The library, at 202 N. Park St., also offers a storytime at the Cortez Farmers Market, at Main and Elm streets, at 9:30 a.m. The market storytime continues through October, weather permitting.

The library’s Summer Reading Program has started, using the theme “Libraries Rock.” Readers may drop by the library to pick up a log and check out the programs.

July storytimes are:

Red, White and Blue, July 5 and July 7.

Sister Library in Nicaragua, July 12 and July 14.

Let’s Make Some Noise, July 19 and July 21.

Let’s Move, July 26 and July 28.
