The Dolores School District will host a Veterans Day Program on Monday, Nov. 12, at 9 a.m. in the Auxiliary Gym at the Dolores High School.
All veterans are encouraged to attend and can register before the program at 8:30 a.m.
There will be a reception after the program in the Band Hall. For more information, call 882-7288.
Band Director Beverly Hall said she believes the program is a great chance to honor veterans and to teach the students in Dolores just how important they are.
A lot of these kids dont know what a veteran is, Hall said. It could be the guy they speed by on main street. He could be a guy who has saved eight or nine lives.
