Designed to benefit staff, the training also is open to schoolteachers, parents, community gardeners and outdoor educators.

Conducted over two days, the training reveals MSTFP’s operational mission, curriculum of nutrition education and focus on high yields. Hands-on training focuses on problem-solving.

On Aug. 15, participants will study about how to grow food, including planning a seasonal calendar, managing yields, strategies and best practices.

On Aug. 16, participants will learn how to teach others to grow food.

Register at montezumaschooltofarm.org before July 27. Cost is $45 per day or $70 for both days.
