The Kiva to celebrate 25 years

The Children’s Kiva Montessori School celebrates its 25th anniversary with a party on Saturday Nov. 17 at the Cortez Elks Lodge, 2100 N. Dolores Road.

Festivities will include dinner, cake, a live auction by Larry Don Suckla, a dessert auction, a “Paint a tile for the Kiva” project and live music featuring Old North State. Live auction items include a Poco child carrier from Osprey Packs, a back-country tour of Crow Canyon’s Archeological excavations, locally handmade jewelry, pet care, dinners at local restaurants, salon services, auto care and more.

The tickets are $20 for adults and children 10 and over, $10 for children 10 and under, and children under 3 are free.

(Please specify your dinner choice when you buy your tickets: 8-oz. rib-eye steak with onions and peppers, phyla wrapped salmon with dill cream, or vegetarian lasagna. All entrees will be served with salad, a side vegetable and roll.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to The Children’s Kiva scholarship and tuition assistance programs.
