The Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest raised the money in August for the local nonprofit Mancos Valley Resources as well as the Mancos Farmers Market and Chicken Creek Nordic. Mancos Valley Resources hosted the event, and the brewery lined up musicians and vendors. Chicken Creek Nordic is responsible for 12.4 miles (20 km) of track for classic and skate-style Nordic skiing on U.S. Forest Service land near Mancos.
